After acquiring the Canadian companies Gamma Inc. and CH-Kay in 2011, the Groupe Ubiqus is further expanding in the translation field, this time in Belgium. Ubiqus is pleased to announce its acquisition of Data Translations International (DTI), a company based in Zaventem, in close proximity to Brussels.
With 20 years of experience and 3.5 million Euros in annual sales, DTI is a leading translation firm in the Belgian market. It works primarily in French, Dutch and English, and employs approximately twenty people, including an extensive team of in-house revisers.
DTI has earned the trust of more than 1,000 clients, including the European Commission in Brussels, the Government of Brussels, the Flemish Government and the Belgian Federal Government.
In 2010, the company’s quality and professionalism earned it the EN 15038 certification specific to translation service providers
Conjugation of Know-how
The Groupe Ubiqus already has a firm foothold in the general and technical translation market, and in legal and financial translation through its subsidiary, Tectrad.
With this new acquisition, it is expanding the scope of its services and strengthening its international position while lending assistance to its existing subsidiaries in Europe (the United Kingdom, Ireland, Spain and Italy), the United States and Canada.
This growth activity forms part of the Group’s multi-specialist strategy designed to position it among the leaders in each of its fields of expertise.
The Groupe Ubiqus is an international SME (with operations in France, the UK, the USA, Ireland, Italy, Spain and Canada) originally established in France, offering services that facilitate communications and business meeting planning. The longevity of the Groupe Ubiqus, which celebrated 20 years in business last year, is founded on the trust of its 7,000 clients and the dynamism of its 500 contributors.
